We’re making a splash this weekend – and you’re invited! Join us on Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th of May for Sea Lion Weekend, a two-day celebration of our incredible sea lions and the amazing work being done to protect marine life in the wild.
This special event is part of our Link to the Wild fundraising initiative, and we’re proud to be supporting Caithness Seal Rehabilitation and Release – a small Scottish charity doing big work to help sick and injured seals return safely to the sea. It’s a cause close to the hearts of our sea lion team, and every tombola ticket, donation and activity this weekend helps them continue their vital work.
Come along to find out more about each of our sea lions – from their unique personalities to their daily routines – and meet the team who care for them. Our Education team will be around all weekend to share their insights, answer your questions and help you get to know the stars of our sea lion training demonstrations a little better.
There’ll be a sea lion-themed tombola packed with great prizes, including the chance to win a behind-the-scenes Sea Lion Experience – and an extra-special piece of artwork: a nose print created by Oscar the sea lion himself!
You can get hands-on at our marine-themed touch table, have a go at ‘feeding’ a sea lion in a fun game, and join in with some engaging activities to learn more about the threats facing our oceans – and how simple everyday actions can make a big difference.
It’s a fun, flipper-filled weekend with a purpose – perfect for sea lion fans, ocean lovers and anyone looking for a day out that feels good and does good.
