Job vacancies

Blair Drummond Safari Park is a fantastic place to work and, with a large team of permanent and seasonal staff, we are proud to be one of the biggest employers in the Stirling area.

University work placements

We usually offer short-term work placements to  university and college students who are studying an animal-related course with an industry work placement requirement.

These are unpaid positions and successful applicants will be expected to assist our animal keeping staff with their daily duties, which include aspects of animal husbandry.  Demand for placements is high and places are limited.

Unfortunately,  we are currently unable to offer any placements.    We will update this page when are ready to accept applications.

Volunteering opportunities

We will soon be trialling a small number of  Customer Experience Volunteers from the 17th of June to the 19th of August. As a Customer Experience Volunteer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our visitors have an exceptional day at the park. Your responsibilities will include answering questions, giving directions, promoting our daily talks and demonstrations, sharing fascinating animal facts, and raising conservation awareness.

We’re looking for friendly, outgoing, and dependable individuals with a love for animals and conservation. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and available to volunteer for at least one session (11am – 2pm) per week during the trial period.

Please keep an eye on the vacancies above for more info on when we are accepting applications.
