Love Halloween, but not so keen on the scary bits? You’re in the right place!
This October, HalloWILD returns to Blair Drummond Safari Park from 10th to 31st October 2026, bringing all the fun of Halloween without the frights. There are no jump scares, creepy characters or anything designed to give the kids nightmares – just plenty of family-friendly autumn fun for everyone to enjoy.
You can expect giant hay bale spiders, a Halloween-themed trick-or-treat trail, an undercover hay bale play-pit and, of course, marshmallows toasting over a glowing fire pit. It’s Halloween, Blair Drummond style!
Our trick-or-treat trail is the perfect way to add a little bit of Halloween magic to your day. Follow the clues around the park to find all the hidden letters, then unscramble them to discover the secret word. Get it right and you could be in with a chance of winning an awesome prize!
And there’s a treat for everyone who completes the trail too – a special HalloWILD sticker. So keep your eyes peeled as you explore and see if you can find them all.
If the kids have plenty of energy to burn off, they can dive straight into our giant undercover hay bale play-pit. Climb, tumble, jump and play to your heart’s content – and because it’s undercover, you can enjoy it whatever the Scottish weather has in store.
You’ll also find our giant hay bale spiders scattered around the park. Don’t worry, they’re much more interested in posing for photos than frightening anyone! See how many different characters you can spot as you make your way around the park.
And when it’s time to take a break, get cosy around one of our fire pits and toast some giant marshmallows. Perfectly golden? Slightly charred? Or full-on burnt with a crispy outside? We’re not here to judge.
Of course, HalloWILD isn’t just about Halloween. All your favourite Safari Park attractions will be open too, so you can spend the day getting to know our animals, enjoying the rides and making the most of everything the park has to offer.
You might come for the Halloween fun, but you’ll still get plenty of time with the giraffes, penguins, rhinos, lemurs, sea lions and all your other favourite animals.
On Saturday the 31st of October, we’ll also be hosting our fancy dress competition in the Safari Marquee. We can’t wait to see your costumes – whether you come as a pumpkin, a superhero, or something a little more spooky. There are three age categories (0–6 years, 7–12 years, and 13+ years) and some brilliant prizes up for grabs. Plus, every single participant will get a token for an amusement ride – so everyone’s a winner.
