A Blair Drummond Christmas
Christmas is on its way and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! From the 29th of November to the 23rd of December, the safari park will be full of festive cheer, with a little extra sparkle added to your family day out.
Your visit will still be everything you love about Blair Drummond – incredible animals, keeper talks, and plenty of playtime – but this December, you’ll also discover some magical surprises along the way. Watch out for Santa’s sleigh as he makes his fly-bys, giggle along with mischievous elves, wander through our sparkling Snowflake Forest, and join us for our brand-new Christmas show, The Penguin that Found a Star. And of course, no festive adventure would be complete without a sing-along train ride on Hector, which is included in your ticket.

Santa's fly-by
Santa Claus is coming to town. Catch a glimpse of the main man himself as he travels through the Safari Park in his sleigh several times a day. He’ll have his naughty list with him so make sure you’re on your best behaviour!
Elf interactions
Our cheeky elves will be out and about in the park, ready to spread festive cheer wherever they go. You’ll spot them juggling, blowing bubbles, and sharing the silliest cracker jokes – perfect for getting everyone into the Christmas spirit.
Jingle Express
Climb aboard Hector the train for a festive sing-along adventure! As you journey through the park, you’ll hear Santa’s very own Christmas Eve playlist – the tunes that keep him going as he dashes through the night delivering presents in his sleigh. And the best bit? It’s all included in your ticket.
Christmas show
Get into the festive spirit with the magical Christmas tale, ‘The Penguin that Found a Star’ from Rubber Chicken Theatre. Join us for a short, interactive, relaxed performance with storytelling, puppets, music and more. An ideal introduction to theatre with lots of Christmas magic and involvement for our younger audiences.
Snowflake Forest
Step into our enchanting Snowflake Forest and pause at the Wishing Tree to make a special Christmas wish. Remember not to tell anyone what you wished for – that’s how the magic works!
Dinosaur Illuminations
Back by popular demand, our spectacular dinosaur illuminations! Wander through our prehistoric forest and enjoy our spectacular floodlit dinosaur display. The illuminations will begin at 2:30pm every day.
Festive food and drinks
We’ve got all sorts of winter-warmers and festive favourites. Try the amazing hot chocolate from our hot chocolate bar, treat yourself to piping hot fish and chips, or dig in to a delicious posh dog.
Marshmallow fire pits
Get cosy around our fire-pits and toast some giant marshmallows. How do you like yours, lightly toasted or full-on burnt? Let the great marshmallow debate commence!
Ticket information
Please choose a date and time that suits you as we’re unable to make changes or refunds once a ticket has been purchased. Our Christmas Spectacular event runs from the 29th of November to the 23rd December.
We will be open from 10am to 3.30pm during the week, and from 10am to 5.30pm at the weekend. Please note that the park will be closed every Tuesday and Wednesday. Prices shown below are weekday vs weekend. We will be open until 5.30pm from the 19th to the 23rd of December and as such these days will follow the weekend pricing structure.
Make sure to book your tickets in advance as we are now online ticket sales only. This includes our members, and anyone with a pre-purchased ticket or gift card.
