Guess what? The merriest season of all is nearly here! Christmas is coming and we couldn’t be more excited. So excited in fact, that we’ve decided to release some early bird tickets already! We’ll be back with our ever-popular Santa’s sleigh fly-bys, mischievous elves, festive food and drink, dinosaur illuminations and a cracking Christmas show! To top it all off, we’re adding a brand new festive train ride to the mix which is included in the cost of your ticket.

Christmas show
Get into the festive spirit with the magical Christmas tale, ‘The Little Reindeer’s Search for a Song’. Join us for a short, interactive, relaxed performance with storytelling, puppets, music and more. An ideal introduction to theatre with lots of Christmas magic and involvement for our younger audiences.
Santa's secret railway
Hop aboard our festive train for a behind-the-scenes peek at the North Pole! As you journey through the park, you’ll hear the enchanting tale of how Santa prepares for Christmas Day.
Santa's fly-by
Santa Claus is coming to town. Catch a glimpse of the main man himself as he travels through the Safari Park in his sleigh several times a day. He’ll have his naughty list with him so make sure you’re on your best behaviour!
Seasonal talks
All our animals will be there to share the magic with you throughout the day. Join a member of our Education team to learn more about them in some special themed talks over the Christmas period.
Scotland’s biggest Christmas tree
We love a fairy light here at the Park and this year we’re more twinkle-tastic than ever. We’ll also be back with our show-stopping Christmas tree that (we think) is the largest in Scotland.
Dinosaur Illuminations
Back by popular demand, our spectacular dinosaur illuminations! Wander through our prehistoric forest and enjoy our spectacular floodlit dinosaur display. The illuminations will begin at 2:30pm everyday.
Festive food and drinks
We’ve got all sorts of winter-warmers and festive favourites. Try the amazing hot chocolate from our hot chocolate bar, treat yourself to piping hot fish and chips, or dig in to a delicious hot roast roll.
Marshmallow fire pits
Get cosy around our fire-pits and toast some giant marshmallows. How do you like yours, lightly toasted or full-on burnt? Let the great marshmallow debate commence!
Ticket information
Please choose a date and time that suits you as we’re unable to make changes or refunds once a ticket has been purchased. Our Christmas Spectacular event runs from 30th November to 23rd December.
We will be open from 10am to 3.30pm during the week, and from 10am to 5.30pm at the weekend. Please note that the park will be closed every Tuesday and Wednesday. Prices shown below are weekday vs weekend. We will be open until 5.30pm from the 20th to the 23rd of December and as such, these days will follow the weekend pricing structure.
Make sure to book your tickets in advance as we are now online ticket sales only. This includes our members, and anyone with a pre-purchased ticket or gift card.
