Dreamnight 2026

9 June 2026

Last Friday, Blair Drummond Safari Park was filled with laughter, excitement and some very special VIP guests as we joined the 30th anniversary of Dreamnight at the Zoo, welcoming around 1,900 visitors for a truly memorable evening.

Dreamnight is a global event where zoos and wildlife parks open their doors for one unforgettable night, offering a completely free experience for children with disabilities, serious illnesses or additional support needs, and their families. The evening is by invitation only, with tickets arranged through charity partners, ensuring the event reaches those who will benefit most.

It’s an evening designed entirely around creating time together – away from daily challenges – where families can simply relax, explore the park, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere filled with fun and discovery.

Across the park, guests enjoyed a packed programme of talks, displays and live entertainment. From face painting by the lovely Sammi’s Snazzy Styles Face Painting, to an epic birds of prey flying display, very special demonstrations from Police Scotland’s Dog Unit and the chance to chat to representatives from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service –  there was something to capture everyone’s attention. We even had a princess from Believe & Dream Entertainment on site!

From the first arrivals in the evening through to the final goodbye, the park was alive with colour, noise and smiles everywhere you looked.

One of the most special parts of Dreamnight is the incredible generosity that helps bring it to life.  We are hugely grateful to our suppliers whose donations of toys, treats and refreshments helped make the evening even more special for our guests.

A huge thank you to:

Their support meant so much to us and the lovely families who joined us on the night.

We’re incredibly proud to be part of this global initiative and to have helped mark such a milestone year for Dreamnight.

Most importantly, thank you to all the children and families who joined us. It was a privilege to welcome you, and we’re so glad the park could be a place where so many special memories were made.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back next time.
