Tiny paws, twitching noses, and curious eyes – Meerkat Mansions is bursting with life again!
Back in May, our meerkat parents, Cardi B and Biggie, welcomed four tiny pups into the world. And just when we thought things couldn’t get any cuter, they’ve done it again! On the 28th of September, Cardi B gave birth to another four pups, bringing this year’s total to eight playful youngsters in our meerkat family.
For their first few weeks, the newest arrivals were kept snug and warm inside under heat lamps, away from public view. This helped them get the best possible start in life while they were still tiny and growing fast. Now that they’re a little older and more confident, they’ve started to explore their outdoor home – and they’re already showing off those classic meerkat moves!
Our first litter – Tom Jones, Tina, Cher, and Whitney – have taken on big sibling duties with style. It’s been lovely to see them helping to look after their new brothers and sisters. In meerkat society, everyone pitches in to raise the young, taking turns to babysit, teach, and even stand guard while others forage for food. It’s a real family affair!
