Welcome to another exciting update from Pets Farm! We are delighted to announce the arrival of our second alpaca cria, bounding onto the scene just 11 days after our last one!
Our lovely alpaca, Megan, gave birth to a gorgeous little girl on the 16th of June at about 10 am. Both mum and baby are thriving and our dedicated team will be keeping a watchful eye on them in the coming weeks.
Carolyn Booth, our Pets Farm Team Leader, couldn’t contain her excitement, saying, “We are delighted to now be home to two alpaca crias. Wee Steveo, our first cria of the year, has been absolutely desperate for a wee pal to play with and it is so lovely to watch the two of them running around together. They are already the best of friends and enjoy trying to chase any birds that may land in their paddock!’
As yet, the adorable new arrival has not been named – and we want your help! Our keepers have come up with some great options, but we just can’t choose. So, we’ve decided to run an online poll where you can cast your vote. Make sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page for your chance to get involved!
