Education workshops at Blair Drummond Safari Park

From lemurs to lions, and conservation to careers, there’s a whole wild world to explore at Blair Drummond Safari Park. Located near Stirling and easily accessible from Glasgow, Edinburgh, and across Central Scotland, we welcome nursery, primary, secondary, and tertiary groups for unforgettable learning experiences.

New for 2026, our curriculum-aligned workshops are designed to support the Curriculum for Excellence and bring Learning for Sustainability to life, helping pupils understand global challenges and take meaningful action for the planet. Each workshop has also been linked to a relevant Girlguiding Scotland badge.

With over 300 animals and acres of outdoor space, our expert education team delivers engaging, interactive sessions that encourage pupils to connect with nature, think critically, and discover how their choices can make a real difference.

Workshops are suitable for all ages and can be adapted to meet your group’s needs. We recommend group sizes of up to 33 learners, but larger group sizes may be accommodated on request. Sessions are available from £50 and are available during term time only. To book, simply add your workshop request to your school booking form – please note that places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

How our workshops work

A little girl with pigtails and wearing a pink coat is looking at a leaflet that says 'Scrambled Egg Trail'. Meerkats are playing in the sand in the background.

Pre-visit activity

In partnership with Twinkl Scotland, you’ll receive a free downloadable activity to complete before your trip. This introduces key ideas and builds excitement ahead of your visit.

Interactive workshop

Delivered in our safari marquee, sessions are hands-on, discussion-based and tailored to your group. Each workshop will last for 30-45 minutes.
