If you’re planning a visit this year, these are the dates you’ll want in the diary. We’ve had lots of lovely feedback from visitors asking if we can share the dates of our animal event days in advance – and we have listened! We’re making it easier to pick a date that works for you – and maybe even plan your visit around your favourite animals.
Across the rest of the year, we’ll be hosting a series of themed animal days, each packed with hands-on activities, interactive experiences and chances to learn more about the species you love.
Here’s what’s coming up:
- Saturday 2nd May – Sea Lion Day
- Saturday 20th June – Ungulate Day
- Saturday 11th July – Chimp Day
- Saturday 25th July – Nature Conservation Day
- Saturday 8th August – Big Cat Day
- Saturday 5th September – Vulture Day
- Saturday 17th October – Lemur Day
Each event follows a similar format, with plenty to get involved in for all ages. You might find yourself testing your knowledge, getting hands-on, or discovering some of the amazing adaptations that help our animals thrive.
There will also be themed prizes up for grabs, along with the chance to win behind-the-scenes experiences, giving you a closer look at how we care for the animals here at the park.
All of our animal event days help raise funds for our conservation initiative, Link to the Wild. By taking part, you’re helping support important conservation work protecting species around the world.
These days are a great way to add something a little extra to your visit, whether you’re planning ahead or looking for a reason to come back again.
Get the dates in the diary and start planning your next visit. Our tickets are released in 2-monthly batches, so if your chosen date isn’t available just yet, it will be coming soon.
