We’re delighted to announce the opening of our brand new lion house – a purpose-built space designed to give our pride even more comfort, choice and opportunities to express their natural behaviours.
Designed with animal welfare at its heart, the new Lions’ Den allows our experienced keepers to carry out daily husbandry, training and veterinary care in a calm, positive environment, while giving the lions greater flexibility in how they spend their day.
The exciting news isn’t just for our lions. For the first time ever, visitors will also be able to enjoy views into the lion house as part of their visit, offering a fascinating new perspective on one of the park’s most iconic animals.
To celebrate the opening, we’re also launching an exciting new experience: ‘Breakfast with the Lions‘.
This exclusive behind-the-scenes experience gives four guests the chance to join our keepers before the park opens and witness the lions’ morning routine. The highlight is a keeper-guided feeding session, where you’ll learn how positive reinforcement training supports the lions’ everyday care and wellbeing. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy breakfast in our VIP viewing room as the pride head out into their habitat to begin their day.
