Get ready to go bananas because World Chimpanzee Day is swinging into action on the 14th of July! The aim of this day is to celebrate our closest relatives in the animal kingdom, and we’ve got an incredible weekend planned for you, running from the 14th to the 16th!
Our dedicated education team will be hanging out, ready to chat with you about all things chimp! They’ll be there to share fascinating facts and funny anecdotes about these incredible creatures. Come along and find out more about our resident chimps: Chippie, Gill and Copper.
We’ve also got a bunch of exciting activities to keep you entertained. Don’t forget to grab some crayons and get creative with our chimp-themed colouring sheets! There’ll also be some fun enrichment themed games to try – can you solve a puzzle like a chimp?
What’s more, you could be in with a chance of feeding our chimps – via catapult! It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity you won’t want to miss.
